About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst to influence how our products operate across the organization. Reporting to the Product team, you will collaborate with various teams—including operations, compliance, technology, and more—to transform real business challenges into actionable requirements that our engineering teams can build and deliver. Your work will span multiple verticals, aligning with the company's ever-changing priorities.

What You'll Bring:

Required

• 4+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, or product and technology roles.
• A proven track record of gathering and documenting business requirements, workflows, and user stories.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work comfortably with large data sets.
• Experience in functional testing, defect tracking, and cross-team validation.
• Practical experience using Claude (or comparable AI assistants) in day-to-day work—drafting documentation, analysing data, or accelerating research—demonstrating sound judgment in its application.

Nice to Have

• Experience within the mortgage industry.
• Working knowledge of mortgage regulations and investor guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA), along with the associated compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with core mortgage platforms and enterprise systems.

Product and Business Analysis

• Partner with stakeholders from operations, compliance, technology, and other product teams to gather and validate business requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and workflow diagrams.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure requirements are fully understood and accurately implemented.
• Identify operational pain points and propose product and process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Utilize Claude to accelerate analysis, documentation, and discovery while applying critical judgment to validate its output.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Contribute to enterprise initiatives, including digital transformation and automation.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, user interviews, and cross-departmental workshops.
• Document product updates, release notes, and create user-facing training materials.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
