[Job - 32036] Senior UX/UI Designer, Colombia

At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team in Colombia. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, transforming, and multicultural environment.

Position Overview

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will lead the design of user-centric digital products, utilizing your expertise to create engaging and intuitive interfaces. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our design solutions not only meet client expectations but also enhance user experiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Client Interaction: Forge strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and transforming their challenges into compelling design solutions.
• Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with our product and engineering teams to create designs that marry aesthetics with functionality.
• Risk Mitigation: Navigate the fundamental risks of product development—value, usability, feasibility, and viability—to ensure designs are impactful and user-friendly.
• Design Execution: Develop and refine design concepts based on user feedback and testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Mentorship: Guide junior designers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the design team.
• Research and Analysis: Employ modern user research strategies to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
• Communication: Clearly articulate design concepts and strategies to clients and team members, ensuring alignment and understanding.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years of relevant industry work, with at least two years as a lead designer—guiding clients, projects, and people.
• A portfolio that demonstrates excellence in designing and shipping successful digital products and services.
• Deep understanding of modern user research strategies and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving ability amidst complex challenges.
• Expertise in user experience and interaction design.
• Exceptional design talents with stylistic breadth that demonstrates sensitivity to diverse subject matter.
• Self-motivation, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Expertise in user experience and interaction design principles.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (nice-to-have).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
