[Job - 30998] Mid-Level QA, Brazil

At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level QA to join our team in Brasil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovative, transforming, and multicultural environment.

Position Overview

As a Mid-Level QA, you will own the end-to-end test strategy and execution, ensuring that each release meets both functional and non-functional requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise in automation and testing methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your contributions will play a significant role in driving CI&T's commitment to Collaboration, Innovation & Transformation, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI to enhance testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain test plans, traceability, and entry/exit criteria.
• Write and execute automated tests, including functional, regression, and exploratory tests.
• Collaborate with teams on shared test suites, focusing on API tests in Postman and reviewing automation scripts.
• Integrate and monitor tests within CI/CD pipelines, adopting a shift-left approach.
• Coordinate with DevOps for test data and environments, managing fixtures and stubs.
• Log detailed, reproducible bug reports and assist in defect triage.
• Provide test results and release readiness reports to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

• Experience with Playwright/JavaScript automation framework.
• Experience with JMeter for backend automation.
• Understanding of the testing pyramid and types: Smoke, UI, API, Regression, Accessibility, etc.
• Knowledge of metrics, dashboards, and QA reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Git, SQL, Postman, and Jira/Scrum processes.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD and Continuous Validation pipelines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to leadership.
• Proficiency in English (upper-intermediate or above) and ability to multitask under pressure.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with JMeter for load/performance testing.
• Ability to configure initial automation projects.
