[Job-30949] Principal Data Architect, Brazil

We are looking for a Principal Data Architect with strong experience to be part of our team. In this position, you will provide technical leadership and design scalable data solutions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients across North America, Brazil, and Latin America.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technically the team and enable multidisciplinary teams of data scientists and data engineers to build, enhance, and maintain data platforms and data products.
• Design and evolve scalable data architectures, including data lakes, data lakehouses, data meshes, and other modern data solutions.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions, making strategic technology decisions based on business requirements.
• Work on a variety of projects, for different clients and subject matter domains.
• Collaborate with strategy, customer experience, product, and non-technical program management teams.
• Ensure solutions follow security, scalability, performance, governance, and cost optimization best practices.
• Communicate with customers and align technical solutions with business needs.
• Understand requirements and select appropriate frameworks, technologies, and architectural approaches.
• Support data modernization initiatives and the evolution of data platforms.
• Explore and apply AI, AI Agents, and Agentic approaches for Data to modern data solutions.

Requirements for this challenge:

• Solid experience in Data Architecture and Technical Leadership.
• Solid experience designing and implementing Data Platforms, Data Lakes, Data Lakehouses, Data Meshes, and other data products.
• Strong expertise in Databricks OR Snowflake.
• Solid experience with AWS OR Azure.
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Microsoft Data Factory, Apache Airflow, or similar.
• Experience with data modernization and/or complex data platform engagements.
• Strong understanding of Data Governance, security, scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Advanced/Fluent English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience applying AI to Data, including AI Agents and Agentic approaches.
• Familiarity with Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI-assisted development.
• Experience with CI/CD, DataOps, or MLOps practices.
• Experience translating business problems into data solutions across BI, Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI.
• Experience with consultative data assessments and pre-sales activities.
