[Job - 30788] Architecture Manager, Brazil

This is an internal opportunity within GU Theta for an Architecture Manager. We're looking for a CI&T professional with a proven track record of consistent, autonomous delivery across one or more engagements — either already operating at Architecture Manager level, or a Systems Architect ready to step into this role. You will work alongside the Engineering Director to drive technical strategy, lead architecture decisions across multiple client engagements, and actively participate in pre-sales and account expansion initiatives.

As Architecture Manager, you will blend technical expertise with commercial acumen. You will own architecture decisions on complex client projects, mentor senior engineers, and partner with the Engineering Director to identify and develop new business opportunities within the alliance. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable designing systems, presenting technical solutions to executive clients, and helping shape proposals that win deals.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and drive technical solutions for complex, mission-critical problems across multiple client engagements.
- Define architecture patterns, technical standards, and engineering best practices that scale across projects.
- Serve as the primary technical escalation point and Trusted Advisor to clients, translating business challenges into technical strategy.
- Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering technical excellence and career development.
- Champion the adoption of AI and Agentic SDLC/DDLC practices, promoting AI-augmented development and delivery methodologies across teams and client engagements.

- Lead technical discovery sessions and requirements gathering with prospective and existing clients.
- Develop and present technical proposals, architecting solutions that address client needs and competitive positioning.
- Participate in statement of work development and scope definition.
- Identify account expansion opportunities and build the business case for additional services and scope.
- Support the Engineering Director in cultivating and scaling client relationships within the alliance.

- Ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency of deployed solutions.
- Define key performance indicators and monitor solution health; propose continuous improvements.
- Manage technical risks and escalate appropriately with stakeholders.
- Champion Agile practices and secure, high-quality engineering standards across teams.

- Establish and maintain architectural consistency across multiple squads and client projects.
- Ensure alignment with CI&T's strategic technical guidelines, governance frameworks, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

- Several years of tenure at CI&T, with a proven track record of consistent, high-performance delivery on one or more client engagements.
- Currently operating at Architecture Manager level, or as a Systems Architect  with demonstrated readiness to step into this role.
- Demonstrated autonomy — proven ability to own outcomes and drive delivery with minimal oversight.
- Strong client-facing track record, with consistent, positive engagement in client-facing positions.
- Strong engineering background with expertise in systems design, technical problem-solving, and architectural thinking.
- Advanced English proficiency with ability to communicate effectively in day-to-day interactions and complex technical discussions with international clients.
- Experience working on projects with international or multinational clients.
- Proactive, self-directed mindset with comfort taking ownership of growth initiatives and new opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with data modernization, cloud platforms, or data engineering (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, cloud data architectures).
- Background in regulated industries (fintech, mortgage, healthcare, insurance).
- Demonstrated experience in pre-sales activities, technical proposal development, and client presentations.
- Experience writing or collaborating on statements of work and scope documentation.
- Comfort facilitating alignment between technical and business stakeholders across organizational levels.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 6 months, you will:

- Understand the alliance's active client portfolio and technical landscape.
- Lead or co-lead architecture decisions on at least one major engagement.
- Actively contribute to 2–3 pre-sales opportunities, from discovery through proposal delivery.
- Mentor 2–3 senior engineers or architects.

Within 12 months, you will:

- Be recognized by clients as a Trusted Advisor and primary technical contact.
- Have contributed to at least one significant contract expansion or new business win.
- Have established architectural standards and best practices adopted across the alliance.
- Have developed a clear succession plan for at least one senior engineer on your team.
