[Job-30014] Tech Lead Java, São Paulo (Hybrid)

We're looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead to join an international engineering team building highly scalable payment solutions.

Work model

This is a hybrid role. Candidates must be available to work at the client's office twice a week (São Paulo).

What you'll be doing

• Lead a team of engineers building and supporting mission-critical applications.
• Drive technical excellence throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making across multiple engineering teams.
• Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support production systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Software Developer leading development teams.
• Solid hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing and operating cloud-native applications.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerized environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
• Experience participating in software architecture and system design discussions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Advanced English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pix or other real-time payment platforms.
• Experience with Alternative Payment Methods (APMs).
• Experience in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments.
