We’re looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality digital experiences across mobile and web platforms. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—providing technical guidance, executing thorough testing, and driving continuous improvement of QA practices.

At CI&T, we shape the future of how brands connect with the world through digital experiences. As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will lead automated testing efforts and enhance our testing frameworks for projects supporting our Australian clients.

Lead the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing across web and mobile platforms.

Collaborate with developers and product teams to define testing requirements and improve the testability of new features.

Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation best practices and modern testing methodologies.

Develop and maintain automation frameworks and tools, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and efficiency.

Review automated test cases to confirm alignment with project goals and acceptance criteria.

Participate actively in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, providing insights on testing progress and quality metrics.

Partner with the DevOps team to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality and testing processes.

Provide technical guidance and support to elevate the QA team’s performance and efficiency.

Extensive experience in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, or TestNG.

Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for automation tasks.

Strong background in testing web and mobile applications (B2B, B2C, and e-commerce), including API testing for Android and iOS platforms.

Proven experience in a leadership role within a QA team operating in an Agile environment.

Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
