[Job - 25136] Data Tech Lead, Brazil

Hey everyone! This is Thai Viapiana from CI&T's Talent Attraction Team :) We are seeking an experienced Data Tech Lead to oversee the technical work of our data teams. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Databricks and will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, governance, and best practices in data engineering across multiple teams. This position requires technical knowledge, leadership skills, and an understanding of client standards to validate deliverables and drive continuous improvement within the team.

- Lead and manage multiple data engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting skill development and best practices.

- Advanced knowledge of Databricks to design and implement data solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

- Define and enforce coding standards, documentation requirements, and architectural guidelines across all data teams.

- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices.

- Lead initiatives for process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance data engineering functions.

- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data engineering and analytics.

- Validate the technical deliverables of each team against engineering best practices and client requirements.

- Establish and implement quality assurance processes to improve data integrity and reliability.

- Work closely with clients to understand their data needs and ensure that solutions delivered meet their standards and expectations.

- Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong emphasis on Databricks.

- Proven experience managing complex projects.

- Expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.

- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
