Job Description

Your Role

As a Strategy & Business Development Intern in the Fleet Department, you will work directly with key leadership, including the Chief of Staff (Thomas), Business Development Manager (Konstantin), VP OEM Partnerships & Fleet Steering (Max), and the Chief Fleet Officer (Jürgen), to support day-to-day business and independently plan, execute, and lead projects. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a fast-growing organization scaling a smart product with tremendous market fit.

This role is ideal for someone with initial experience in fast-paced, high-performance environments who is eager to gain deeper automotive insights and drive meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic initiatives: Help the Fleet management team navigate daily challenges, gain deep departmental insights, and lead high-priority initiatives across the company. You will take on responsibility from day one, steering high-impact, cross-departmental projects that directly contribute to making mobility fun and sustainable.
  • Steering & KPI reporting: Support in the Fleet department’s reporting process by tracking key performance indicators, ensuring targets are met, identifying risks, and driving strategic solutions.
  • Support high-stakes OEM negotiations: Assist in preparing executive-level presentations and materials for senior stakeholder meetings with OEM partners, including on-site engagements — ensuring FINN is represented professionally at every touchpoint.
  • Drive OEM value creation: Conduct in-depth analyses of FINN's fleet and customer data, leveraging the latest AI tools to generate compelling customer insights and build a strong, data-backed narrative of FINN's value proposition to OEM partners.
  • Question the status quo: Critically examine and optimize existing processes to enhance efficiency, helping us build a world-class, data-driven organization that runs seamlessly.
  • Your Profile

  • You are pursuing a degree in business administration, finance, economics, industrial engineering, or a related field with a strong academic track record and outstanding achievements.
  • Previous experience in automotive strategy, consulting, startups, or another fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities in an evolving business environment, while effectively coordinating and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with innovative and creative approaches to overcoming them.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, with a high level of comfort working with numbers and translating insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Genuine interest in and curiosity about the mobility industry, with the ability to stay informed on industry trends.
  • Available for an internship of 4 to 6 months.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • Why FINN?

  • Competitive Salary: 2,500€ per month.
  • Experience our Product (25% Car Subscription Discount): Become a FINN driver yourself! You will receive a generous employee discount or can alternatively take advantage of our attractive bike leasing scheme.

  • Health & Mindset (Sports & Wellbeing): Your energy is our drive. Benefit from a subsidized EGYM Wellpass membership for fitness and sports.

  • Munich Office Life: Barista-style coffee, matcha, and a luscious fruit basket await you at our modern headquarters in Munich. On top of that, there is a daily lunch subsidy for those in the office.

  • Team Spirit & Corporate Events: We are more than just colleagues. Whether it's summer events by the lake or simply a relaxed after-work drink, we celebrate our milestones together at regular team events.
