Job Description
Are you an experienced electrical or quality engineer driven to uncover the root causes of complex PCBA and electrical issues? Do you thrive in a production environment where technical depth, precision, and collaboration directly influence mission success? Join Shield AI to lead investigations that strengthen the performance and reliability of the systems protecting service members around the world.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience performing RCA and corrective actions for PCBA/electrical hardware in production or test environments.
  • Strong understanding of schematics, PCB layouts, and circuit diagnostics.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Familiarity with QMS processes, structured problem-solving, and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering.
  • Experience designing and troubleshooting PCBAs and developing functional test plans.
  • Working knowledge of Python or C/C++ for test automation and data analysis.
  • Proficiency with advanced test instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum/network analyzer, SMU, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of electronics reliability, failure mechanisms, and metrology.
  • Experience with environmental testing (HALT/HASS, thermal, vibration, TVAC).
  • Background in Aerospace, Defense, or Automotive environments using Lean/Six Sigma methods.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across production, test, and supplier engineering functions.
