💡 The Opportunity

We’re building Equicap, the AI-native one-stop-shop for the next generation of SMBs in Spain — and we’re looking for a Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead Product and Tech from day one.

Equicap addresses three major challenges in the SMB economy: succession gaps among retiring business owners, limited wealth-building opportunities for employees, and low digitalization across traditional companies.

Our AI-native platform automates sourcing, due diligence, financing, and leadership onboarding for SMB acquisitions, while migrating businesses onto a full-stack financial operating system and building new fintech and insurtech that replaces legacy tools with scalable, AI-driven infrastructure. At the same time, Equicap’s equity program gradually transitions ownership to employees — turning each business into a sustainable, long-term, employee-owned company.

You’ll join Equicap’s CEO and co-founder, who brings extensive experience in M&A, financing, and strategic leadership from his roles at leading international Private Equity and Investment Banking firms.

This is a unique opportunity to co-found a high-impact venture in the B2B fintech space, backed by the resources, expertise, and ecosystem of Antai Ventures.

🎯 What You’ll Do

• Co-lead Equicap’s vision, product, and technology strategy — from concept to scale.

• Design the product architecture and roadmap for an AI-powered B2B SaaS platform that automates complex financial workflows and integrates with existing SMB systems.

• Build and lead the early engineering and product team, defining technical priorities and culture.

• Translate user and market insights into scalable, high-performing product features.

• Develop and iterate the platform’s AI-driven modules for automation, analytics, and decision-making.

• Partner with the CEO on strategy, fundraising, and business development.

• Drive a culture of execution, continuous learning, and data-driven experimentation.
  

🔍 What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in Product or Tech leadership roles in fast-growing B2B SaaS or Fintech environments.

• Strong track record of building and scaling data- or AI-driven software products.

• Ability to define architecture and technical direction in early-stage settings.

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams (engineering, design, data) through 0→1 product development.

• Commercially minded, analytical thinker comfortable navigating financial data and metrics.

• Proven ability to ship complex products that solve real business problems.

• Bonus: Experience in SMB software, fintech infrastructure, or acquisition/financing tools.

• Fluent in Spanish and English.

• Entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and excited by the challenge of building a platform that transforms the SMB landscape.
