💡 The Opportunity

We’re building Multiplo, an AI-powered wealth management platform making high-quality financial planning accessible to everyone — not just the ultra-wealthy — and we’re looking for a Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead Product and Tech from day one.

Multiplo combines the best of AI automation and human advisory to help users manage, grow, and plan their finances with confidence. The platform aggregates all personal finances in one place, offers clear recommendations, compares the best market products, and provides regular check-ins, proactive alerts, and on-demand access to an advisor — like having your own private wealth manager, powered by AI.

The company was founded in 2024 and recently raised a Pre-Seed funding from prominent fintech founders, operators, and business angels to accelerate product development and market entry.

You’ll join Cristian Merino, Multiplo’s CEO and co-founder, a consultant-turned-entrepreneur with 15+ years in the financial industry. Cristian helped define and launch Finanbest, one of Spain’s first robo-advisors, and later founded his own consulting firm, leading strategic projects across the sector.

This is a rare opportunity to co-build a category-defining FinTech company at the intersection of AI, wealth management, and financial inclusion — backed by Antai’s venture studio model and an already-funded roadmap.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the co-founders and executive team to define the product’s technical vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy.

• Build and lead a world-class engineering team across backend, frontend, and data—fostering a cloud-native, continuous delivery mindset and ensuring professional growth.

• Architect a scalable, resilient, and secure technology platform with freedom to choose between monolith, microservices, serverless, and other modern patterns.

• Select the right technology stack for both backend and frontend applications, optimizing for speed, reliability, and scalability.

• Lead development with strong knowledge of software design principles, particularly Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and SOLID principles.

• Oversee the design and deployment of a robust data processing pipeline, managing ingestion, transformation, and storage for high-volume use cases.

• Champion engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and agile methodologies across the product lifecycle.

• Act as a tech-business bridge, communicating complex ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating closely with the CEO and executive team.

• Foster a culture of curiosity, ownership, and proactive problem-solving across the tech team.
  

🔍 What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, ideally in backend technologies (Java/Spring or PHP/Symfony preferred).

• Proven leadership experience as a Tech Lead or CTO in a startup or fast-growing digital company.

• Strong grasp of Cloud Native environments: Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, service mesh, infrastructure-as-code.

• Expertise in designing and scaling data architectures, including pipelines for stream/batch processing and data warehousing.

• Deep understanding of software architecture, testing, design patterns, and team workflows in agile development environments.

• Track record of hiring, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams.

• Entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on, get-it-done approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to translate tech into business.

• Fluency in both English and Spanish.

• Bonus: Experience in FinTech or similar regulated markets and building AI-first digital products.
