About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Designer to join their Compliance Department, focusing on packaging and regulatory artwork. This position is not a traditional creative design role; rather, it requires a highly detail-oriented professional who can ensure that packaging designs meet all compliance requirements, adhere to precise specifications, and maintain consistency across product lines.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in Adobe Illustrator, have experience in Compliance and/or Packaging, and demonstrate the ability to manage projects from start to finish with accuracy and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and edit AI files using Adobe Illustrator to ensure artwork aligns with compliance and brand guidelines.
• Work closely with the compliance and production teams to review, adjust, and approve packaging artwork.
• Ensure all packaging materials meet regulatory, legal, and brand standards before production.
• Follow established processes meticulously from concept to final sign-off.
• Maintain a clear record of revisions and version control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (compliance, design, production, and suppliers) to ensure timely and error-free delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in a compliance, packaging, or artwork design role.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and handling AI files.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to catch small errors that can impact compliance.
• Experience working within structured workflows and approval processes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in consumer goods, beauty, food, or pharmaceutical packaging.
• Familiarity with regulatory labeling or product compliance standards.
