About the Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), your primary focus is to generate pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients through outbound outreach. You'll be responsible for initiating conversations, understanding prospect needs, and booking meetings for Account Executives.

The outreach mix varies by company — some focus mostly on Cold Calling or more Email and LinkedIn, while others take a multi-channel approach. That said, most of our clients place a strong emphasis on cold calling, given its consistent success in driving qualified opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research ideal target accounts within a defined territory or vertical
  • Engage B2B prospects through cold outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Conduct research and personalise outreach to target accounts and decision-makers
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to assess fit and buying intent
  • Use CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive to manage and track leads
  • Set up meetings and hand off qualified opportunities to Account Executives
  • Maintain detailed records of activities and regularly report KPIs to sales leadership
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to improve messaging and conversion rates

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years in B2B Sales, Business Development, Cold Calling, or Outbound Messaging.
  • Ideal Industry Experience: Tech, IT, SaaS, Marketing, FinTech, Cybersecurity, E-commerce Solutions, or other B2B-focused industries.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRMs, sales automation tools, and communication platforms.
  • Fluent in English: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Remote-Ready: A reliable laptop and stable internet connection are required.
