Job Summary
We’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support the top of the sales funnel through targeted outbound prospecting. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth SaaS company, develop valuable enterprise sales skills, and work closely with a team of Account Executives and Marketing specialists. The ideal candidate has prior outbound sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, email, and cold calling to generate qualified sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads using tools like HubSpot, Apollo, or similar CRMs.
- Research and personalize outreach for key buyer personas (e.g., Operations Managers, Heads of IT, Product Owners).
- Qualify prospects using BANT or MEDDIC frameworks and schedule discovery calls for Account Executives.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align messaging, campaigns, and ICP targeting.
- Track activity metrics, report weekly performance, and refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Stay up to date with SaaS industry trends, product features, and competitor positioning.
Requirements
- 1–2+ years of experience in a B2B outbound sales or lead generation role (SaaS experience preferred).
- Proven success in cold outreach and hitting KPIs such as meetings booked or qualified leads generated.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in a remote-first sales environment.
- Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), email automation, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently or in distributed teams.
- Tech-savvy with a curiosity to understand and articulate complex SaaS solutions.
- Stable internet connection and quiet work-from-home setup.
