Shield AI is seeking a AP specialist to join our Finance team in Frisco, TX. This position, under general supervision, is responsible for performing a variety of general accounting tasks in an Accounts Payable department.
*We have a second opportunity in a for a 6 month temporary to hire capacity with possibility to convert to a full-time employment. Please let your recruiter know if you are open to that as well.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ months of experience
- Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience with three-way matching.
- Proficient in Excel, with intermediate or higher skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables) and experience in data analysis.
- Experience with large-scale Procure-to-Pay (P2P). Experience with Coupa and Deltek Costpoint is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to quickly grasp new concepts, organize and coordinate work phases, and identify appropriate solutions at the task level or, with guidance, at the project level.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively with professional staff.

Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
