Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
  
• Mathematics
  
• Applied Mathematics
  
• Engineering
  
• Physics
  
• Other math-intensive fields
  
• B.Ed. will be an added advantage.
  
• AP-teaching certification or prior AP prep experience is a major plus.
  

• Strong conceptual clarity in Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, Calculus II & AP Calculus.
  
• Excellent communication and ability to simplify hard topics.
  
• Ability to solve and explain high-difficulty calculus questions.
  
• Comfort teaching both slow-paced beginners and advanced fast learners.
  

Teaching Skills

• Ability to build concepts from scratch (functions, trigonometry, limits, slopes).
  
• Experience preparing students for competitive math exams (SAT, ACT, AP).
  
• Strong classroom management and student engagement techniques.
  

Analytical & Technical Skills

• Strong stepwise problem explanation.
  
• Use of annotations, digital whiteboards, and screen sharing to teach effectively.
  

Technical Requirements

• Stable high-speed internet connection with a quiet, professional home setup.
  
• High-quality microphone/headset and webcam for crystal-clear teaching.
  
• Familiarity with Zoom and other online platforms.
  
• Ability to use:
  
• Virtual whiteboards
  
• Graphing tools (Desmos, GeoGebra)
  
• Shared digital notations
  
• PDF annotations & digital textbooks
