Scope of the Role

The Video Editor & Photo Retoucher will support both growth marketing and organic social content. This role combines strong storytelling, design, and detail orientation with the ability to execute quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for editing performance-driven ads, producing organic vlog-style social content, and retouching images with perfect color accuracy.

Duties and Responsibilities

Video Editing (Growth Ads):

• Edit short-form ads with concise, polished storytelling tailored for multiple formats.
• Trim footage to the strongest moments, ensuring tight, clean edits.
• Identify stand-alone segments for repurposing into shorter clips.
• Add captions for accessibility and clarity.
• Deliver runtimes under 2 minutes within 24 hours, requiring fewer than 2 rounds of feedback.

Video Editing (Organic Content):

• Create vlog-style content aligned with brand voice and creator-driven storytelling.
• Edit engaging formats such as 30-second “Get Ready With Me” (GRWM) videos.
• Feature products prominently and authentically.
• Select the strongest video clips and soundbites for maximum impact.
• Deliver edits within 4 days, requiring fewer than 2 rounds of feedback.

Photo Retouching:

• Retouch and enhance product and lifestyle images with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ensure perfect color accuracy across all assets.
• Deliver final images requiring no revisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience editing short-form digital ads and organic social content.
• Skilled in creating engaging, concise, and polished vlog-style videos.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
• Strong knowledge of Photoshop (or equivalent) for retouching and color correction.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining high creative standards.
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
