Scope of the Role
We are seeking a visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing organization, elevate our brand presence, and drive sustained growth across both digital and offline channels. The CMO will balance creative storytelling with data-driven performance, ensuring our brand becomes a household name within its category.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy to achieve revenue and brand growth goals.
- Oversee all marketing functions, including performance marketing, brand marketing, PR, influencer/affiliate, and CRO.
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
- Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies across digital platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, email, SEO, affiliates, etc.).
- Shape the brand narrative through compelling campaigns, content, and partnerships.
- Leverage analytics and performance data to optimize spend and improve ROI.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and operations teams to align marketing with company goals.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to ensure innovation.
- Manage and optimize the marketing budget effectively.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally in e-commerce, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
- Proven track record of scaling DTC/e-commerce brands through digital marketing and brand-building.
- Deep knowledge of performance marketing (Meta, Google, TikTok) and retention strategies (email, SMS, loyalty).
- Strong understanding of CRO, UX/UI, and the customer journey.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Balance of creative vision and operational discipline.
