About Our Client
Our client, a boutique tax and accounting firm, is seeking a highly capable and independent Senior Accountant or Full-Charge Bookkeeper who can take full ownership of deliverables from day one. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing both business and personal books, filing sales tax, supporting payroll functions, and preparing tax-related deliverables with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate thrives in a small firm environment, knows how to navigate QuickBooks, Pearl, and related tools, and understands the full accounting cycle across multiple entities. You’ll be given a client and expected to “run with it,” preparing the financials from start to finish, and assisting the principal with reviews and final filings.

Responsibilities

• Full-charge bookkeeping for business and individual clients
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Sales tax filings and payroll prep
• Preparation of client financials for review
• Support with business and personal tax deliverables
• Organize and manage client files for CPA review and final sign-off
• Handle QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) and other relevant accounting tools
• Communicate directly with the principal CPA to ensure accuracy and timeliness

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a small accounting firm or boutique CPA practice
• Previous Experience with ProSeries Tax Tool(required)
• Hands-on, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll support, and full-cycle accounting
• Comfortable preparing files for tax season and supporting the final CPA review
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Pearl (a plus if they have PeachTree, but not needed (Sage 50))
• Experience with personal and business taxes
• Candidate must have access to a quiet, professional remote setup and use their own equipment
