Yard Crane & Material Handling Operator

Location: Arlington, TN
Shift: 1st Shift
Starting Pay: $22.00/hour — higher depending on experience

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable Yard Crane & Material Handling Operator to support outdoor yard operations. This role involves moving structural steel, loading and unloading trailers, and operating various material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Move and position trailers throughout the yard.

Operate Pettibone equipment to transport steel materials.

Load and unload trailers.

Operate overhead cranes to safely move structural steel.

Assist with general outdoor yard and material-handling activities.

Maintain reliable attendance and follow safe work practices.

Requirements

Qualifications

Experience operating cranes and material-handling equipment preferred; training may be provided to the right candidate.

Experience loading structural steel using an overhead crane required.

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

Ability to safely handle steel and other materials in a busy yard environment.

We are open to candidates with experience operating some or all of the equipment listed and may provide training for the right person.
