This is a remote position.
WAF Services Expert
Location: Remote
Period: 01/11/2026 to 31/12/2027
Utilisation: Part-time (TBC - approx 36-45% utilisation depending on confirmed period)
Contract type: Contract / freelance
Key Responsibilities
- Administration of the WAF
- WAF ruleset management
- WAF platform optimisation according to vendor recommendations and best practice
- Liaising with relevant application teams for WAF rule optimisation
- Development of customised WAF rules
- Documentation of all changes in WAF environments
- Monthly activity reports
Requirements
Eligibility
- You must already hold the right to work in the EU, EEA or Switzerland
Requirements
- Fluent English
- Proven experience administering Azure WAF in a production environment
- Strong communication skills for liaising with cross-functional application teams
