most robust payment gateways, empowering merchants to accept online payments via various instruments—including credit/debit cards, UPI, wallets, and international payment options.
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Merchant Onboarding to join our fintech team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling the end-to-end onboarding process for new merchants, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and efficient integration into our platform. You will work closely with sales, compliance, risk, and tech teams to deliver an excellent onboarding experience that supports our rapid growth in the digital payment’s ecosystem.
Expectations/ Requirements:
● Review merchant onboarding requests submitted by KAMs for completeness and accuracy
● Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) checks in accordance with regulatory requirements.
● Conduct website and business model reviews to evaluate potential fraud, brand reputation issues, and risk exposure.
● Check domain registration, website structure, content, payment flows, and red flags (e.g. misleading claims, prohibited products).
● Assess merchant legitimacy through online presence (e.g., reviews, social media, regulatory checks).
● Conduct background checks and verify business legitimacy through online sources and third-party tools
Education:
● Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
● 0-1 years of experience in merchant onboarding, operations, or a related role in fintech, banking, or e-commerce.
