Job Description

The Remote-based Virtual Sales Representative (VSR) - Sleep will serve as a vital role to the EVERSANA client partnership by meeting and exceeding assigned territory sales goal. Our VSR will establish working relationships with assigned healthcare providers and support staff. This person will communicate information on our client’s neurology/obstructive sleep apnea product, as well as educate customers on relevant patient educational materials/programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete assigned product training at an advanced level, developing a comprehensive understanding of general disease state, assigned product features and benefits, and core selling messages.
  • Develop expertise in delivery of core selling messaging for assigned promoted products.
  • Meet or exceed call expectations and sales attainment goals set forth by the Client.
  • Ensure that sample and literature requests are generated accurately and perform appropriate follow-up and investigation on product shipments as needed.
  • Maintain database entries on targeted customer calls including attempts, product
  • discussions, and literature requests.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on team leadership in areas and opportunities for improvement.
  • Adhere to all company, Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA), compliance, and regulatory policies and guidelines.
  • Work independently from "remote" home office.
  • Cultivate assigned virtual territory & be accountable for measurable results.
  • Work closely with the field specialty team to ensure product availability for patients.
  • Compensated based on a mix of overall volume/metrics and outcomes.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
  • All other duties as assigned.

TRANSITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ROLE EVOLUTION:

  • Support the pre-launch and launch strategy through several phases of evolving responsibilities and objectives.
  • Deliver high-quality, unbranded educational presentations and materials while providing field insights to support the broader launch strategy.
  • Adopt best practices as responsibilities progress to more meaningful HCP engagement, including scheduling future onsite meetings, identifying appropriate patient types and workflows, and sharing launch updates.
  • Execute the sustained post-launch call-plan objectives, help strengthen field-based penetration, and expand reach to additional high-priority HCP targets.

Requirements

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements below represent the experience, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role.

Education:

  • Four-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR equivalent experience required

Experience:

  • 2 + years of HCP-facing pharmaceutical sales experience including virtual engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software especially Word, Excel and Outlook required with the ability to learn new software as needed (i.e. Veeva CRM experience a plus).
  • Excellent communication & rapport building skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex clinical data.
  • Solid and persuasive communication skills.
  • Aptitude and confidence to converse with physicians, as well as all levels of medical office staff.
  • Stable internet connection adequate to support voice over VoIP calls and virtual call platforms.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
