We are also developing different types of propulsion systems to power our future vehicles and missions. As a talented Test Technician, you will be responsible for supporting test activities across the various test benches.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
In your capacity as a Test Technician, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:
- Help develop, prepare, assemble and commission mechanical and fluidic systems of the test benches.
- Support integration of instrumentation on the test benches.
- Support the team in building a CAD model of the test benches.
- Be an active participant in the test benches' maintenance operations.
- Act as an operator and monitor test bench systems during test campaigns
- Be involved in test and maintenance procedure writing and execution
- Handle cryogenic fluids (e.g., LN₂, LOX, CH₄), high-pressure gases, and hazardous operations following strict procedures.
- Contribute to safety reviews, risk assessments, and operational readiness checks
- Support post-test operations, inspections, and hardware documentation
- Be involved in spare part management and procurement for the test benches.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and external partners, including design engineers, AIT engineers and technicians, suppliers, and test facility operators, throughout the full test campaign lifecycle
What we would love to see from you:
- 3+ years experience in Mechanical & Fluidic systems assembly and operations.
- Previous experience in the Aeronautic/Aerospace field, ideally in a test environment.
- Previous experience with Cryogenic and High-pressure fluids with strong understanding of the risks/consequences involved.
- Previous experience with CAD softwares (NX/Teamcenter or equivalent).
- Solution oriented mindset, rigorous, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable working in outdoor or industrial environments and with PPE
- Basic instrumentation, data acquisition and test monitoring experience (e.g. LabVIEW)
- Intermediate working proficiency in English. French is an asset
