Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test solutions for web, API, and mobile applications.
  • Implement AI-assisted automation using tools such as Windsurf and Katalon Studio AI Assist to improve automation efficiency and reduce script development time.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, Katalon Studio, and other modern automation frameworks.
  • Champion Shift-Left testing practices by enabling automated smoke testing during pull requests and throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins to provide continuous feedback on application quality.
  • Create and maintain automation standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices across engineering teams.
  • Support multiple product teams with automation strategy, framework implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Analyze test execution results, identify quality risks, and communicate findings to technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to improve application quality and testability.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging AI-driven testing technologies and recommend improvements to the automation ecosystem.

Requirements

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Proven experience designing and developing automated testing frameworks for enterprise applications.
  • Expert-level experience with:
    • Playwright
    • Katalon Studio
    • Selenium
    • Sauce Labs
    • Micro Focus ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)
  • Hands-on experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
  • Experience automating both UI and API testing.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills.
  • Experience working within Agile development teams.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Preferred

  • Experience using AI-assisted development or automation tools such as Windsurf and Katalon Studio AI Assist.
  • Experience implementing Shift-Left testing strategies.
  • Experience supporting cloud-native applications and modern DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and promoting automation best practices across teams.
