About the Role
We’re seeking a Google Ads Specialist to join our client’s team and take ownership of campaign management across Google Ads. This role will begin as a Technical Specialist focused on execution and optimization, with the vision of transitioning into a Manager role within 3–6 months. Over time, you’ll take over client account management responsibilities currently handled by the CEO.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is growth-minded, highly motivated, and eager to step into a leadership track. While technical expertise is critical, culture fit and alignment with our client’s mission are equally important.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Google Ads campaigns end-to-end, including creation, optimization, testing, and reporting.
- Optimize lead generation campaigns for local businesses and nonprofits, with a strong emphasis on Google Grants accounts.
- Use tools like Google Ads Editor and Adalysis to streamline campaign management.
- Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) for efficiency and optimization.
- Monitor campaign performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously iterate inputs and improve outputs.
- Support long-term transition by preparing to manage accounts and take on client communication in the future.
Requirements
- 3 + years of proven expertise in Google Ads.
- Experience managing lead generation campaigns; nonprofit/Google Grants experience is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with strong ability to interpret performance data and make optimization decisions.
- Exposure to AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) preferred.
- Basic SEO knowledge is a plus, but not required.
- Growth mindset, openness to feedback, and willingness to learn.
- Cultural alignment with our client’s values and mission is essential.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GoHighLevel or Lindy AI (training available if not).
- Wide industry exposure; e-commerce experience not a priority.
- Previous experience in missionally aligned organizations.
