Technical Paid Advertising Specialist

At OnTheGoSystems, we’ve been building successful translation and localization software with a fully remote, international team since 2007. Our products are used on more than 1.5 million active WordPress sites, helping businesses around the world build and manage multilingual websites and content.

We’re looking for a technical, hands-on Paid Advertising Specialist who knows how to connect AI, automation, and data to real advertising workflows.

What you'll do

• This is a role where you’ll have the freedom to build, test, and improve, not just manage campaigns designed by someone else.
• You’ll own paid advertising hands-on while having the space to explore how AI, automation, and better use of data can improve the way campaigns are managed.
• You’ll be able to experiment with new tools and approaches, build your own solutions, and directly influence how we develop a more technical and AI-driven approach to paid advertising.

We’d especially like to meet someone who:

• Has personally set up, run, analyzed, and optimized paid campaigns.
• Has hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads, or LinkedIn Ads.
• Has used technical tools to automate, connect, analyze, or improve advertising workflows. This could include Google Ads Scripts, advertising APIs, Python, Zapier, Make, GA4, BigQuery, Looker Studio, and AI agents.
• Is comfortable managing several campaigns or channels at the same time.
• Can show real examples of using AI or automation to solve advertising problems or reduce manual work.
• Thinks analytically and enjoys investigating why performance changes, not just reporting that it changed.
• Understands that automation needs validation and can explain how they check that automated workflows are working correctly.
• Can work independently, prioritize what needs attention, and move things forward without detailed instructions.
• Enjoys experimenting with new technology and turning useful ideas into working solutions.
