At Zoox, we’re not just building self-driving cars; we’re creating an autonomous ride-hailing service that will revolutionize how people move. Our Ops Tools team is the central nervous system of this mission, and we’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to be a technical leader in this critical area. This isn’t just another full-stack role. You’ll be at the intersection of web development, robotics, and real-time operations, building the software that allows us to manage and scale our fleet of autonomous robotaxis. Qualifications
- Solid foundations in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS
- Solid understanding of web technologies
- Experience with a Front End UI Framework (e.g. Vue, React, Svelte)
- Ability to design and architect large scale web applications
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate consistently
- 10+ YOE and Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an engineering, mathematics, or related field
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Python or C++
- Experience with 3D graphics, especially in a web context.
- Familiarity with robotics and 3D spatial reasoning.
