Job Description
As the Mission Readiness Shift Lead on Zoox’s Mission Readiness team, you will be responsible for the readiness of all vehicle assets, both L3 and robotaxi platforms, that are based in your geosite office during your scheduled shift. This includes, but is not limited to, deploying the correct software and firmware to the right vehicles at the right time, conducting pre-mission checks, and ensuring that the shop facility is in a ready state to support operations. Additionally, you will assist the Team Lead for your location in accurate data tracking toward team KPIs.
Travel Requirements: less than 20%
Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 12am
Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in an operations-based environment
- 2+ years of people leadership experience.
- Proven ability to quickly learn technical subjects.
- Clean driving record with zero points on the record.
- Ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Team player who collaborates well cross-functionally. Excellent written and verbal skills. Must be honest, responsible, and an outstanding communicator.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite, especially Excel or Sheets
- Possessing an “Extreme Ownership” and growth mindset.
Bonus Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (business management, operations, finance, etc.)
- Experience with autonomous vehicles, automotive, mobility, or a similar safety-critical industries
- Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic service environment.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma.
- Experience leading contingent labor (contractor) teams.
