The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible to support the implementation of our overall talent and recruitment strategy. The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor act as a business partner to all hiring managers in the attraction and selection of top talent for the organization by identifying the best sourcing strategies and ensuring a good candidate experience.
More specifically, the Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor must:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting process, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
- Ensure an impressive candidate experience through thorough communication and timely feedback, interviewer preparedness, and effective interview structuring/formatting
- Create and support the establishment of the talent acquisition strategy
- Develop strong relationships with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop/execute sourcing and recruiting plans
- Work with hiring managers to identify position requirements and sourcing strategy
- Coach and lead hiring managers through recruitment best practices
- Coordinate relevant job postings on Applicant Tracking System and manage the movement of candidates to appropriate status
- Identify the best sourcing channels for different positions and skillsets within the organization
- Conduct screening interviews; validating skillset, organization/position/cultural fit, language; prepare shortlist brief for hiring managers
- Act as point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Responsible to maintain all Talent Acquisitions application systems and recruitment accounts;
- Manage pre-employment process, including background verification and references
- Support Employer Branding initiatives
- Establish a social media strategy to promote all open positions
- Proactively source talent by leveraging the appropriate platform
- Develop and update recruiting reports and analytics
- Lead and participate in talent acquisition projects and initiatives
- Prepare offer details to include in offer letters and employment contract
- Work closely with HR Business Partner to ensure a smooth transition into the on-boarding process
Requirements
IDEAL PROFILE
Education
- University degree in Human Resources, administration, psychology, or other relevant field of study
Experience
- 5-7 years’ experience recruiting in-company
- Experience with Applicant Tracking System and candidate sourcing
Knowledge and skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative strategies and approaches for recruiting and identifying exceptional talent
- As a key member of the HR team, must have a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism and diplomacy
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Good knowledge of good clinical practices, and applicable Health Canada and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations/guidelines.
