Senior System Administrator

We are hiring an experienced IT System Administrator to help us scale, secure, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in AWS, Terraform, and cloud automation, who also brings hands-on experience with services like Amazon FSx, Amazon WorkSpaces, and Amazon Q Business.

You’ll be a key contributor to infrastructure design, automation, monitoring, and Zero Trust security enforcement using tools like Spacelift, Zabbix, Zscaler, and Checkpoint CloudGuard.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure in production environments.
• Strong expertise in Terraform, with a track record of managing infrastructure via code.
• Experience with Spacelift or equivalent tools for Terraform deployment pipelines.
• Operational knowledge of Amazon FSx (especially Windows File Server), Amazon WorkSpaces.
• Familiarity with Zabbix for infrastructure monitoring.
• Working knowledge of Zscaler (ZTNA) Or equivalent and Checkpoint CloudGuard or equivalent for security and access control.
• Working knowledge of MDM solutions for Mac and WIndows (Jamf, Endpoint Central or equivalent).
• Skilled in using GitHub for code versioning, collaboration, and review workflows.
• Competence in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance AWS infrastructure, including core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC) and enterprise solutions such as Amazon FSx (Windows file storage), Amazon WorkSpaces (virtual desktops), and Amazon Q Business (AI-powered knowledge search).
• Define and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, orchestrating deployments and policy enforcement using Spacelift or equivalent.
• Set up and manage monitoring solutions with Zabbix to ensure infrastructure performance and reliability.
• Implement and support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) using Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) for secure remote access.
• Enforce cloud security practices through Checkpoint CloudGuard, covering workload protection and compliance.
• Experience with managing an IDP (Okta or equivalent) users, groups logic, and application integration.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to manage infrastructure code via GitHub, with a focus on stability, peer review, and traceability.
• Automate routine processes and improve system efficiency through scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Document infrastructure standards, system configurations, and operational runbooks.
