Senior Staff Engineer, TLM Banking Reconciliation

REQUIREMENT

• Experience:7.5+ years
• Should have strong experience in SmartStream TLM implementation, customization, administration, and support.
• Must have expertise in reconciliation systems covering Cards, Payments, GL, Nostro, and VAT reconciliation.
• Should have experience with Banking domain.
• Should have strong understanding of financial transaction lifecycle and reconciliation operations.
• Must have experience in enterprise workflow architecture and process orchestration.
• Should have knowledge of data mapping, ETL processes, data pipelines, and file formats such as CSV, XML, and SWIFT.
• Should have hands-on experience with Oracle Flexcube or other core banking systems.
• Should must strong knowledge of Oracle/SQL databases and query optimization.
• Should have experience with Unix/Linux environments and scripting using Shell or Python.
• Should have knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and enterprise integrations.
• Should have experience integrating systems through APIs, middleware, and file-based interfaces.
• Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Should be able to design and implement enterprise-scale reconciliation and workflow solutions using SmartStream TLM.
• Should be able to lead requirement gathering sessions, discovery workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
• Should be able to architect scalable, modular solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Configure, customize, and support TLM implementations, upgrades, and performance tuning activities.
• Design AI-enabled and automated workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Work on reconciliation processes across Cards, Payments, General Ledger (GL), Nostro, and VAT reconciliations.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, PoCs, and prototypes.
• Manage system integrations with core banking platforms, APIs, middleware, and file-based interfaces.
• Support UAT, production deployments, post-implementation validation, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Business teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Participate in product roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and solution strategy discussions.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements.
• Work within Agile delivery frameworks and global delivery teams across APAC, EMEA, and US regions.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
