Senior Project Manager (OVA5957)

This is 12 – month contractwith our client in the banking sector.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of enterprise-wide projects across the business. In this role, you will ensure that project goals are fully aligned with our overall business strategy and delivered with excellence. You will be responsible for defining comprehensive project plans—specifying strategy, staffing, scheduling, risk mitigation, and optimal resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Strategy: Develop end-to-end project plans defining scope, objectives, schedules, governance, and resource requirements in line with corporate strategic goals.
• Enterprise Execution: Direct and coordinate cross-functional project teams to deliver complex, large-scale enterprise initiatives on time and within budget.
• Risk & Contingency Management: Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; build and execute robust contingency plans.
• Resource & Capacity Allocation: Manage the allocation of internal and external resources, balancing workloads and optimizing team productivity.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for executive sponsors and key business leaders, providing transparent status reporting and driving alignment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of proven experience managing enterprise-wide projects, portfolios, or complex transformation programs.
• Methodologies: Strong proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management frameworks (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications preferred).
• Leadership: Exceptional leadership, stakeholder negotiation, and team-coordination skills.
• Problem Solving: Proven track record in strategic risk identification, contingency planning, and resource optimization.
