Job Description
Job Setup:
- Fully remote: Philippines
- On-site: Dubai, U.A.E.
Contract: Freelance - minimum 2 weeks - 1 month (possibly renewable)
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules to meet business requirements.
- Integrate Odoo with other systems using various technologies (Java, .NET, Node.js).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Odoo and related systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other departments to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure the quality of the code through rigorous testing and code reviews.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Odoo and related technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in Odoo development. Proven experience in developing and maintaining Odoo modules.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Odoo framework and development. Strong knowledge of Python, XML, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL. Experience with Odoo.sh and Odoo Studio. Proficiency in at least one additional stack such as Java, .NET, or Node.js.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience in eCommerce with Finance/Accounting module implementation such as Revenue Management System is mandatory.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Certification in Odoo.
- Experience in business process analysis and improvement.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Previous experience in multi-stack development projects involving Java, .NET, or Node.js
