Role Overview

Position: Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js & Next.js)
Type: Freelance (Approx. 3-Month Contract, with potential for full-time transition)
Location: Remote

BluePro.ai is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with deep expertise in Next.js and Typescript modern tooling to help build and scale their product.
You will collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable software with a focus on front-end performance, backend reliability, and smooth API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize features in the company’s Next.js application.
• Implement and manage API integrations with third-party services.
• Design and evolve data models using Prisma and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate across design, product, and backend teams to deliver robust, end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure excellent developer and user experiences using tRPC, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following modern best practices.
• Contribute ideas to improve architecture, performance, and workflow automation.

• 4+ years of full-stack development experience, with at least 2 years working in Next.js.

• Strong command of TypeScript and component-based architecture.
• Proven experience with Prisma schemas and PostgreSQL databases.
• Track record of building and consuming APIs (REST or GraphQL).
• Deep understanding of tRPC for type-safe client–server communication.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially regarding UI/UX consistency with Tailwind CSS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Bonus Skills

• Experience deploying and scaling apps with Vercel or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and code quality tools.
• Previous freelance or startup experience.
