Compensation: $170,000 - $205,000 + equity with periodic liquidity; ~10% annual bonus

Vi is a high-growth healthcare AI company that deploys predictive models and AI agents into the daily operations of the largest US health systems and health plans. Founded in 2017, it has about 100 people and doubled revenue last year.
The Role
Vi is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (5-15 years) to own the full technical delivery of AI agent deployments for major health systems, providers and pharma organizations. You will architect complex systems, present to executives and build production software end to end, often as the only engineer in the room.
What You Will Do
- Own enterprise engagements end to end, from pre-sales demos and requirements through implementation and post-launch support.
- Architect and build production AI agent systems integrated with EHR/EMR, claims, specialty pharmacy and CRM systems under HIPAA.
- Run working sessions and present to executive stakeholders at major health plans and health systems.
- Make independent architecture decisions on scope, tools and integrations.
- Feed field learnings back into the core platform and build reusable components.
What You Bring
- 5-15 years as a software engineer building and owning complex production systems
- Ability to design full system architectures and produce architecture diagrams
- Strong client-facing communication and executive presence
- Healthcare or life science domain experience
Nice to Have
- EHR/EMR or claims integrations
- HIPAA-regulated environments
