We help private equity and corporate clients navigate complex mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, divestitures, and integrations by combining deep transaction experience with technology, operational, and financial expertise.</p> <p>As a Senior Consultant, you will work across the transaction lifecycle—from diligence and separation planning through Day 1 readiness and post-close execution—to help clients reduce execution risk, accelerate value realization, and build stronger standalone businesses. You'll partner with cross-functional client stakeholders to solve complex challenges, develop data-driven recommendations, and deliver measurable business outcomes. You'll also contribute to the continued growth of our M&amp;A practice through business development, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.</p> <p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support buy-side and sell-side merger, integration, and carve-out engagements for private equity and corporate clients across multiple industries.</li> <li>Develop standalone operating cost models, one-time separation cost estimates, synergy analyses, and technology financial models to support investment decisions and transaction execution.</li> <li>Analyze business applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and technology operating models to assess risks, identify value creation opportunities, and develop integration or separation recommendations.</li> <li>Support the planning, design, negotiation, and execution of Transition Services Agreements (TSAs), standalone operating models, and Day 1 readiness activities.</li> <li>Lead technology workstreams across post-close merger and carve-out programs while managing project plans, risks, dependencies, budgets, and executive reporting.</li> <li>Identify and document business, process, technology, contractual, and organizational entanglements to support successful separations and integrations.</li> <li>Facilitate client workshops, present recommendations to executive stakeholders, and translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.</li> <li>Leverage West Monroe's proprietary methodologies, accelerators, and Intellio™ assets to improve planning, governance, collaboration, and transaction execution.</li> <li>Contribute to proposals, statements of work, client pursuits, and thought leadership initiatives that strengthen the growth of the M&amp;A practice.</li> <li>Mentor consultants and analysts by providing coaching, knowledge sharing, and quality review of project deliverables.</li> <li>Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs.</li> <li>Apply AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, automation tools, data models) to enhance insights, improve delivery efficiency, and elevate the quality of client outcomes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Will Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years of client-facing management consulting, technology consulting, transaction advisory, or IT M&amp;A experience supporting private equity or corporate clients.</li> <li>Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, carve-outs, divestitures, or technology transformation initiatives.</li> <li>Experience developing financial models, standalone cost analyses, synergy assessments, TSA analyses, or technology business cases.</li> <li>Understanding of enterprise business applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and technology operating models within an M&amp;A environment.</li> <li>Experience managing project workstreams, balancing competing priorities, and delivering high-quality client outcomes in fast-paced environments.</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, financial modeling, and quality assurance skills with experience using tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar platforms.</li> <li>Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree required; relevant certifications such as PMP, LeanIX, Smartsheet, or other project management or technology certifications are a plus.</li> <li>Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into day-to-day workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation, coupled with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, mitigate bias, and ensure high-quality outputs.</li> <li>Ability to travel 25 to 50%.</li> <li>A commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectives.</li> <li>Ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p data-ccp-props="{&quot;335551550&quot;:1,&quot;335551620&quot;:1,&quot;335559683&quot;:2,&quot;335559685&quot;:557,&quot;335559731&quot;:0,&quot;335559737&quot;:0,&quot;335562764&quot;:2,&quot;335562765&quot;:1,&quot;335562766&quot;:4,&quot;335562767&quot;:0,&quot;335562768&quot;:4,&quot;335562769&quot;:8.81}"><span data-usefontface="false" data-contrast="none">Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary&nbsp;range for this role can&nbsp;</span><span data-usefontface="false" data-contrast="none">vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see&nbsp;</span><span data-usefontface="false" data-contrast="none">table below).
