Senior/Lead Backend Engineer - FinTech & Crypto Innovation

Location: Remote - Fully remote across Europe - they can do B2B or hire through EoR.

Compensation: $120K - $140K

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Backend Engineer to help us revolutionize the FinTech and crypto industry. This is a fast-paced environment where you will solve complex banking and crypto problems, translating them into elegant, efficient, and resilient architectural solutions. Your ability to deliver high-quality code makes you a pillar of our engineering team.

You will work directly with the product team, owning the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical services that power our next-generation financial platform. Your focus will be on building highly scalable and resilient backend systems that handle core banking functions, blockchain integrations, and serve data to our applications.

What You'll Be Working On:

• Core Services Development: Develop the core banking and blockchain services that form the foundation of our platform.
• API Development: Develop, debug, test, and deploy robust APIs, including the mobile API that feeds our mobile apps and web.
• Microservices: Develop, test, and deploy microservices to support our core business using a modern stack.
• Integration: Lead the technical integration with various external partners and services.

• Experience: Experience in FinTech and/or crypto is required.
• Core Technology: Strong experience with Golang.
• Modern Stack: Enjoy working with a modern backend stack, including Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, and GCP.
• Engineering Practice: Proven ability to develop, test, and deploy microservices and APIs to support a core business.
• Teamwork: Strong team player mentality: Credit the team & Blame no one.

Preferred Experience (What Will Make You Stand Out):

• Experience Level: 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Crypto Depth: Direct experience with crypto/Web3.
