About Richpanel
Richpanel is the AI-native helpdesk.
Brands hire an AI support team that resolves repeat customer questions from start to finish. Their people stay in control of the moments that need judgment.
Richpanel replaces the old helpdesk and the next few support hires. The AI handles order tracking, returns, subscription changes and the repeat work that buries CX teams. Human agents handle the exceptions in the same workspace.
We are profitable, backed by Sequoia and growing 110% YoY at 8-figure ARR. We already serve 3,000+ paying brands.
Partners already bring us some of our strongest opportunities. Now we want to turn that advantage into a repeatable revenue channel.
About the role
The best partner managers do not collect logos.
They know which 20 relationships matter. They understand the partner's business, earn trust and create a clear reason to recommend the product.
Your job is to make Richpanel the helpdesk that Shopify agencies, BPOs and CX consultants recommend first.
You will own the full motion. Find the right partners, open the relationship, learn their clients, teach them how Richpanel creates value and work the first deals together.
You will go deep on the product. A development agency, BPO and retention consultant each need a different reason to recommend Richpanel. You will build those talk tracks from customer demos, product knowledge and partner feedback.
You will also own the number. Your primary target is partner-sourced closed ARR. Meetings, events and enablement matter only when they produce revenue.
What you will own
• Build a named map of the top Shopify agencies, BPOs and CX consultants in North America.
• Bring existing relationships and open senior conversations quickly.
• Choose the 20–30 partners that deserve high-touch investment.
• Recruit, enable and activate those partners against a shared revenue plan.
• Learn Richpanel's product, customers, competitors and target buyer in depth.
• Join sales demos until you can run discovery and explain the product yourself.
• Build partner-specific talk tracks for developers, BPOs, CX consultants and growth agencies.
• Show each partner how Richpanel creates value for their clients and their own business.
• Find agencies already working with Richpanel customers and prospects.
• Build warm introductions through customers, other partners and the Shopify ecosystem.
• Run joint account mapping, co-selling, dinners, roundtables and focused community events.
• Help partners qualify opportunities before they reach sales.
• Stay involved in large deals until the customer closes and launches successfully.
• Create partner tiers, cadences, enablement and clear rules for high-touch support.
• Automate onboarding, payouts, deal registration and long-tail communication.
• Track partner momentum. Re-engage partners before the relationship goes cold.
• Keep attribution and partner-sourced pipeline accurate in the CRM.
• Report qualified demos, win rate, closed ARR and partner concentration every month.
What a strong partner looks like
A strong partner does more than sign an agreement.
They:
• Advise Shopify brands that fit Richpanel's target customer profile.
• Influence helpdesk, AI, BPO or CX operating decisions.
• Understand the client's support workflow and unit economics.
• Can explain why Richpanel fits the client's problem.
• Bring decision-makers into a qualified sales conversation.
• Stay involved through evaluation, migration and launch.
• Produce repeat referrals, not one introduction.
Requirements
You may be a fit if
• You have 5+ years in partnerships, channel sales, agency growth or ecommerce SaaS.
• You have owned a closed revenue target and can show the result.
• You know senior leaders at Shopify agencies, BPOs or CX consultancies.
• You can name the first 20 partners you would evaluate for Richpanel.
• You understand how agencies make money and what earns their recommendation.
• You learn products deeply enough to teach and sell them.
• You can turn one product into distinct stories for different partner types.
• You are comfortable joining discovery, demos and commercial calls.
• You can host a dinner, work a conference and follow up before the flight home.
• You are analytical. You know which partners create revenue and which create noise.
• You can build the systems behind the relationships.
• You move quickly without waiting for a complete playbook.
Strong signals
• You have led a brand, agency book, ecommerce function or commercial P&L.
• You have worked at a Shopify app, ecommerce agency, BPO or customer experience company.
• You have generated meaningful ARR through agency or consultant referrals.
• Your partners can sell without asking you to join every call.
• You have built partner tiers, health scores, enablement and referral workflows.
• You have created joint events that led to qualified opportunities.
• Customers and partners describe you as commercially sharp and easy to trust.
• Former managers can verify the numbers you claim.
This role is not for you if
• You measure success through signed agreements, calls or partner logos.
• Your network exists only as LinkedIn connections.
• You prefer broad partner recruitment over deep focus.
• You need marketing to create every message and asset for you.
• You avoid product demos or commercial conversations.
• You wait for partners to send referrals on their own.
• You report influenced pipeline when the role owns closed ARR.
• You dislike frequent travel, events or fast follow-up.
