Job Type: Full-time, Independent Contractor

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET (flexible overlap with PST as needed)

About the Client
Our partner is a fast-growing AI technology startup that helps businesses automate workflows through an intuitive, no-code platform. Their mission is to make it simple for teams to design, test, and deploy AI-driven processes using a visual interface that connects multiple data sources and models.

Their clients use the platform to:

  • Create AI Assistants and Chatbots that interact with users, answer questions, and complete tasks using internal data and APIs.
  • Automate Document Processing to summarize, extract, and analyze insights from large sets of information.
  • Build Data-Connected Apps that let users query databases (e.g., Notion, Airtable, Postgres) using natural language.
  • Support Content Creation through automated tagging, summarization, and formatting tools.

Requirements

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Sales Specialist to drive outbound prospecting and lead generation for our partner’s AI platform. As one of their first sales hires, you’ll play a key role in building the top of the funnel and shaping the company’s go-to-market strategy. This role is ideal for someone who’s entrepreneurial, target-driven, and eager to grow in a dynamic startup environment. You’ll collaborate directly with the leadership team, helping identify opportunities, refine outreach strategies, and accelerate pipeline growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through LinkedIn, email, and calls to identify and engage potential leads.
  • Book and schedule qualified meetings with decision-makers and enterprise accounts.
  • Use tools such as Apollo, Instantly, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build and manage prospect lists and campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate lead and activity tracking across CRM and outreach systems.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine messaging and improve conversion rates.
  • Support light sales enablement initiatives such as demo prep or outreach content.
  • Uphold professionalism and strong communication in all client-facing interactions.

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or lead generation.
  • Proven track record of booking meetings and exceeding outreach targets.
  • Experience selling technology or SaaS solutions, ideally to enterprise or B2B clients.
  • Experience prospecting and engaging enterprise accounts.
  • Hands-on experience with modern sales tools such as Apollo, Instantly, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in U.S. time zones (ET or PT).
  • Highly proactive, self-driven, and detail-oriented.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with generative AI tools and emerging trends in AI-driven sales.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
