World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.

WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce.

Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements.

The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language.

Responsibilities:

• Develop modular, accessible, and responsive Angular components with reactive forms, routing, and state management (RxJS/Signals/NgRx)
• Build and maintain APIs in FastAPI (preferred) or Django with pydantic schemas, authentication (JWT/OAuth2), background tasks, pagination, and third-party integrations.
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, indexes, migrations, stored procedures, and data quality controls.
• Ensure high code quality with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest/Karma/Cypress).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, structured logging, and operational runbooks.
• Break down epics into clear deliverables, collaborate on design and code reviews, and mentor peers.

• 5 to 8+ years building production web applications with full stack experience (frontend + backend).
• Strong proficiency in Angular, Python, and Java, with solid SQL Server (T-SQL) optimization skills.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend practices.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, with a strong grasp of server architecture and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and best practices for code quality.
• Comfortable communicating in English during daily standups, code reviews, and technical discussions.
