Remote Online English Teacher in South Africa (Flexible Hours)

Position Details:

• Teaching Hours (must be available for both shifts):
• Morning shift: 3 AM - 6 AM SAST (Mon-Sun)
• Afternoon shift: 2 PM - 6 PM SAST (Mon-Sun)
• Weekdays: Minimum 4 peak hours daily
• Weekends: Minimum 5 peak hours daily
• Rate: $6 USD per hour
• Contract Type: Independent Service Provider

• English first language speaker.
• Minimum 1 year of online teaching experience.
• Completed tertiary qualification (Diploma/Degree).
• Accredited 120-hour+ TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification.
• Clean criminal record.

Technical Requirements:

• PC: Intel® Core™ i5 CPU @2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or better, 8GB RAM or greater.
• Internet: Stable fiber connection (20 Mbps upload, 30 Mbps download) via LAN cable.
• Backup Power: UPS with 4-5 hours battery life (if in an area with power interruptions).
• Equipment: Noise-cancelling headset, HD webcam (720p), and a quiet, well-lit teaching space.
