In this role, you will build and manage a country-specific network of referring physicians across various therapeutic areas. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and effective referral process between referring physicians and study investigators.
This is a home-based position in the United States that requires regular travel.
You will:
- Identify and select physicians, providing them with valuable training and support throughout the referral process to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Plan and conduct regular visits to referring physicians, whether in person and/or via video conference, to promote collaboration. Following this, you will be responsible for documenting key discussions and objectives in a report.
- Provide ongoing support to referring physicians and their teams, ensuring agreed-upon tasks are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with various departments at PSI CRO, including Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and Legal, to ensure the successful implementation of the referral process across all projects.
Requirements
- College/University degree in Life Sciences or an equivalent combination of education, training & experience
- Experience working in the clinical research industry
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA)
- Experience communicating with physicians and/or investigators required
- Oncology and/ or Gastroenterology experience is a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel, including frequent travel as required
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- PC skills to be able to work with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
