Job Description:

Job Role- Power Platform Developer

Preferred Location – Frankfurt, Germany

Working Type – Remote working mode (Across Germany)

Language Needed (Mandatory) - German (Min. B2 Level Certified or at C1 Pursuing Proficiency Level)

Work position- Min. 6 months Contract (Possible Extension)

Services Required:

• Development & Technical Support:
• Design, develop, and maintain solutions on the Power Platform, particularly focusing on Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Support the creation of custom connectors and database designs, integrating external systems with the Power Platform.
• Provide technical advice to citizen developers, reviewing their code, helping with troubleshooting, and offering solutions for complex issues.
• Consulting:
• Assist with feasibility analysis for potential applications on the Power Platform, advising on technical constraints and best practices.
• Guide the technical architecture for Power Platform solutions, helping set up databases and ensuring they meet the necessary governance standards.
• Advise on code review practices, security standards, and production deployment processes.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer:
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions (online and in person) to enhance internal capabilities in using Power Platform tools.
• Help citizen developers adopt best practices for building secure, scalable, and compliant applications.
• Community & Collaboration Support:
• Enable collaboration between departments, developers, and external specialists.
• Support internal teams and external contractors with technical assistance, helping build a collaborative and supportive development environment.
• Documentation:
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of development processes, solutions, and technical standards.
• Use internal tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint for documenting project progress, issues, and solutions.

Project Details:

• Project Language: The project will be conducted primarily in German.

Service Provision:

• The service will be provided remotely with occasional on-site work in Germany as required.

Technical Requirements:

Experience:

• At least 3 years of practical experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Experience in designing and implementing databases, especially those integrated with Power Platform tools.
• Proven ability to develop custom connectors to integrate external systems into the Power Platform environment.
• Practical experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Experience in providing technical support and code reviews to citizen developers.
• Hands-on experience with collaborative development methods like pair programming and fusion development.

Skills:

• Power Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Database Design: Ability to design and implement databases, with experience in setting up data gateways and connecting systems using custom connectors.
• Feasibility Analysis: Strong skills in assessing the technical feasibility of applications and identifying potential issues during ideation.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Ability to prepare and deliver training materials, conduct workshops, and provide ongoing technical guidance.
• Governance & Security: Knowledge of technical standards, governance, and security practices to ensure the compliance and scalability of developed solutions.
• Agile Development: Familiarity with agile tools like Jira for project management and working in Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Documentation & Communication: Strong ability to document processes, solutions, and provide clear communication through tools like Confluence and SharePoint.
