(Must be planning to take the July 2027 California Bar Exam. Must have passed the MPRE and received Moral Character determination approval by the time the position begins in September 2027)
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate with lien claimants
- Navigate a case management system
- Write reports for clients
- Summarize recent case law and updates
- Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A law degree from an accredited law school
- Excellent writing, proofreading, spelling, and grammar skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Dropbox or other shared cloud storage
- Ability to interact effectively with the public, clients, and employees; maintain confidentiality and use discretion and tact; work independently in the absence of specific instruction
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Critical thinking skills, problem-solving ability, and pride in work product are essential.
Compensation: $75,000/year for full-time, plus a $50 monthly electronics reimbursement
Note: The ideal candidate will be hard-working, inquisitive, and willing to take initiative. This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. A law degree and pending California State Bar results are required.
