Physician Reviewer - General Surgery (Utilization Review) LA

Dane Street, a leading national provider of Utilization Review (UR) and Independent Review Organization (IRO) services, is expanding our panel of physician reviewers. We are seeking Board-Certified General Surgeons with an active Louisiana medical license to conduct independent medical reviews on a flexible, fully remote basis.

This is a non-clinical, contract opportunity (1099), ideal for physicians interested in supplemental income, flexible scheduling, and the ability to contribute outside of direct patient care—while continuing to maintain an active clinical or surgical practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply industry standards and clinical guidelines consistently

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license
• Board Certification in General Surgery
• Current involvement in a clinical or surgical practice
• Strong written communication and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable with independent, remote work
