Job Role: Parabroker

Compensation: $1,800 AUD / Monthly with salary review after 6 months

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

From first-home buyers to small business owners, our team takes time to understand your vision and sources the right loan products to suit your goals.

Role Overview: The Parabroker supports the broker team across all stages of the loan process—from onboarding to post-settlement. Acting as the operational backbone, this role ensures all files are accurate, compliant, and efficiently processed through LMG systems, enabling brokers to focus on client relationships and business growth.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Loan Application Preparation & Processing
    • Review and verify client supporting documents (e.g., payslips, IDs, tax returns, BAS, bank statements).
    • Accurately input client and financial data into LMG’s MyCRM and lender systems.
    • Prepare servicing calculators, credit assessments, and supporting notes.
    • Identify and follow up on missing documents with brokers or clients.
    • Cross-check credit policies, lender requirements, and product features before submission.
    • Generate and prepare compliance packs for broker review (Credit Proposal Disclosure, Credit Guide, BID).
  • Post-Approval & Settlement Support
    • Collaborate with the Client Service Manager (CSM) to address lender backchannel messages and “More Information Requests (MIRs).”
    • Client Service & Workflow Coordination
    • Maintain clear communication with clients and lenders using email templates and regular updates.
    • Schedule client meetings or follow-up calls on behalf of the broker.
    • Track loan progress in MyCRM and AirTable, ensuring timely status updates.
    • Maintain service-level agreement (SLA) timelines across all tasks.
  • Reporting & Broker Support
    • Provide weekly status reports on loan pipelines, conditional approvals, and settlements.
    • Assist with compliance audits and loan book reviews.
    • Support marketing initiatives through CRM data management (client anniversaries, post-settlement reviews).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Parabroker, Loan Processor, or Credit Analyst, ideally within an Australian mortgage brokerage.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian residential lending, including lender policies, credit assessments, and document verification.
  • Familiar with LMG MyCRM, ApplyOnline, and other loan lodgement platforms (Simpology or lender direct portals).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Quickli, AirTable, OneDrive, and Outlook for workflow and communication management.
  • Solid understanding of compliance standards including NCCP, BID, AML/CTF, and privacy requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple loan files with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills, confident in liaising with clients, brokers, and lender BDMs.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain service-level standards in a fast-paced environment.
