Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring a compassionate Overnight Veterinary Care Coordinator to support pet families during our 10:00 PM–6:00 AM third shift.

This Fully Remote Veterinary Customer Service Care Position is ideal for someone with experience in Customer Service, Veterinary Reception, Healthcare Scheduling, Client Support, Funeral Home Reception or Funeral Home Assistants who is comfortable helping families through sensitive and emotional situations.

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming calls from pet families during the 10 PM–6 AM overnight shift
• Provide calm, compassionate support during emotional and end-of-life conversations
• Explain Heartstrings services and appointment availability
• Gather and accurately document pet and family information
• Schedule in-home veterinary appointments
• Support families with hospice, quality-of-life, and end-of-life care questions
• Coordinate with veterinarians and internal team members
• Maintain accurate records and meet quality, attendance, and performance standards

What We're Looking For

• Experience in customer service, call centers, veterinary reception, veterinary client service, healthcare scheduling, or remote support
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Compassion and emotional intelligence when assisting grieving or distressed families
• Strong attention to detail and computer skills
• Ability to learn scheduling, CRM, phone, email, mapping, and other cloud-based systems
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Dependable attendance and punctuality throughout the overnight shift
• Previous veterinary or animal-care experience is a plus
