Job Description

About Consciousabraxas

Consciousabraxas is a behavioral health organization headquartered in Palm Beach County, Florida, delivering high-quality telehealth mental health services across multiple states. Our mission is to provide accessible, evidence-based care while building a structured, systems-driven clinical environment that supports both client outcomes and clinician excellence.

We are committed to maintaining high standards of clinical integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement. Our culture emphasizes professionalism, accountability, and long-term growth — empowering both the individuals we serve and the clinicians who serve them.

About the Role

Consciousabraxas is seeking a part-time, remote Mental Health Therapist to support our expanding telehealth practice in Ohio. This role is designed for independently licensed clinicians who are confident in delivering evidence-based care within a structured, insurance-driven model.

The therapist will conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, establish DSM-5 diagnoses, develop medically necessary treatment plans, and provide individual and family therapy services via secure telehealth platforms. All services must be documented in compliance with commercial insurance and Medicaid standards.

This position requires strong clinical judgment, efficient documentation practices, and the ability to manage a growing caseload independently. Therapists will collaborate with Clinical Leadership to maintain quality assurance standards, outcome tracking, and continuity of care.

We are building a scalable, systems-driven behavioral health organization, and this role is ideal for clinicians who value structure, professionalism, and long-term growth.

  • Coordinate care with other providers and support continuity of services
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives, chart reviews, and clinical performance improvement processes

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology (clinical track)
  • Active, unrestricted Ohio license as an independently licensed Mental Health Professional (LPCC, LISW, IMFT, or LICDC)
  • Demonstrated experience in treatment planning, diagnosis, and evidence-based mental health interventions
  • Experience in case management and coordinated care
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote telehealth setting
